This place we all live in together is fragile. Every species has a role. There has to be balance. If you allow mechanical raking and the alteration of dunes and put no fences to protect their nesting grounds, then we will lose the Piping Plover and our balance will be upset. Please show some common sense and restraint in development. Absolutely, people need work but other species help create the environment we can enjoy. The piping plover eats insects. What happens when there are too many?
