Given that the land acknowledgement of the area identifies that these projects are within the Dish with One Spoon treaty territory, have the Chiefs within the 6 Nations been part of these decisions?
Indigenous consultation requires input and approvals from all of the Chiefs.
The risk of immediate impacts, given the political landscape, requires public reassurance that there are no future risks given the decisions of a council well aware of the reality of the Dish with One Spoon treaty.
