This proposal relates to back filling bodies of water with excess construction soil.
As local residents who receive our water from a well. We moved here to continuing to enjoy and protect the natural environment of the Credit river and Niagara Escarment that we have been blessed with since 1979.
We must inisist that backfilling is not a benign activity. It will change the flows, temperature, and cleanliness of the downstream watershed.
Aecon land flows towards Green Lake and the Credit River
This proposal has unknown consequences to private wells, drinking water, and wildlife habitats.
This kind of activity should not be undertaken on such an important natural watershed.
