The town hasn't done well…

The town hasn't done well taking care of its current properties that line the beach. They've sold it off for profit. We cannot release this land in hopes that they will keep it protected and natural the way provincial parks do. Sure the pavement is overgrown with weeds and blowing sand but it still does its job as a parking lot. We do not need to pave over more area for people to park and destroy precious native species who are at risk. Once we do this with one provincial park it opens the doors to releasing so many precious protected areas to local townships with empty promises. I am local. I pay for a provincial park pass to access the beaches to support the parks rather than using the free municipal parking lots and that should speak for itself.
