Hi there,
I’m very concerned about the potential sale or transfer of land at Wasaga Beach Provincial Park. This area is home to Ontario’s last remaining nesting sites for endangered Piping Plovers. With only about 14 birds left in the province, losing this habitat would be devastating.
Please keep these lands protected as part of the provincial park. Development or privatization would put the Piping Plovers at serious risk. We need to prioritize conservation and ensure these birds have a safe place to nest.
