Support on an ongoing basis for the town to maintain the habitat for the piping plovers must be part of any transfer agreement.
This is important for this species but also to align to the policy objectives of this proposal to enhance tourism in the area. The beauty and natural fauna and flora of ontario are critical to the attractiveness of the tourism in this area and the plovers are a key and distinct part of the draw of the region.
