I grew up frequenting the beautiful beaches that lie along the shores of Nottawasaga Bay, including Wasaga Beach and the beaches of Tiny Township. Wasaga Beach is perhaps the only beach left protected under our Ontario Provincial Parks. If sections of Wasaga Beach are moved into the hands of the municipality, I fear that we will eventually lose public access to this space. Also, the loss of Provincial Park status will have a terrible environmental legacy for the unique plants and animals that live in these areas. Our provincial park lands are the heritage of all Ontarions, past, present, and future. Please do not allow this transfer to move forward.
