Our provincial parks are not for sale, they are not for commercial use or development grounds waiting to be taken. Wasaga beach is our top summer destination, which is probably why you’re trying to dig in your grip and make profit. Our provincial parks is room for nature to breath, for us to breath and to escape the noise and pollution of the cities. You’re not messing with our Greenbelt, you’re not messing with our legacy. You don’t own our province, it’s not passed around from party to party, you were elected to serve it and protect it. Our provincial parks were there before you, and they’re going to be there and thriving after you. This is Canada, we are known for our outdoor spaces and wildlife. Ontario has over 300 provincial parks to discover, attracting over 11 million visits from around the world to only 8% of the province’s landmass. You are not touching any of the 82,000km of these parks and conversation areas.
They’re our parks, not your playground.
