I am strongly opposed to this proposal. It sets a terrible precedent. Provincial parks and conservation areas must remain accessible for all the people of Ontario (and visitors), not be given or sold to developers to make money.
This is another horrible decision by the Ford government to monetize the natural resources of Ontario, which ARE NOT HIS to profit off of. His short-sighted money grubbing will haunt Ontarians for decades to come, and it's not ok!
I am extremely concerned at the attempt to alter the legislation protecting our parks and fear that Ford will carve up other parks if we let him get away with the Wasaga Beach proposal.
