With the proposed changes in Wasaga Beach area, I am very concerned with the threatened species of piping plovers. They already face soo many obstacles and have volunteers that try to protect them during breeding season. And wasaga beach is one of the known areas that pairs return to each year to breed. If they return next season with their territory destroyed or unprotected, that could affect that years chances and possibly many offspring moving forward. There need to be amendments made and measures put in place to at least secure their area as protected. This just isnt right, and we dont need to be taking over every empty beach space. There is lots to go around. Please think of something other than human greed :(
