The piping plovers of Wasaga Beach Ontario will continue to need government support to ensure the survival of this species. The reduction in habitat has dwindled the piping plover to lower than sustainable levels and requires protection and intervention to see improvement.
Only with the introduction of this protection did the piping plover see any nest success and produce fledglings.
This is an important endeavour that cannot be reversed. A commitment to see this through and to show future generations the importance of life and sustainability is also at stake.
The piping plover will continue to climb in numbers and contribute to our planet’s diversity. They need your help.
