This is a terrible idea. It is another example of how the government wants to remove environmental protections for the benefit of a few who want to make money.
Coming as it does after the removal of the Endangered Species Act makes it even more terrible. If the Endangered Species Act was still in place, at least we would know that the beach would likely be maintained to protect piping plovers habitat, but this is no longer the case, and it wouldn't be surprising if the municipality bulldozes and clears to the end of the point on Beach area 1
Please don't do this.
