I am against the proposed land transfer. Wasaga beach provincial park is important habitat for endangered piping plovers and was protected for a reason. The proposed transfer also puts public access at risk to the resource. Furthermore, this sets a dangerous precedent that future parks may simply be deregulated and destroyed. Please do the right thing and vote against this bill.
