The proposed area of development is an extremely rare habitat in Ontario due to habitat loss. It needs to be preserved and protected at all costs. Any economic benefit would be greatly overshadowed by the destruction of the rare and valuable sand dunes and pine oak savannah. Many species already struggling due to habitat loss may become extirpated. This includes Piping Plovers. Say no to urban sprawl into protected nature.
