I am very concerned about the possibility of Wasaga beach being transferred from Ontario parks to the Town of Wasaga beach. My concern is associated with the nesting habitat of the Piping Plover. This is the largest nesting area in Ontario. We cannot take a chance that is could be lost. The amount of work that was and is done to protect these birds is vital. Please do not proceed with this proposal. Things are promising for the birds as they are.
