As a senior resident of Springwater Township, I am strongly opposed to the handing over of Wasaga Beach Provincial Parklands to the town of Wasaga Beach.
We use the beach regularly in the summer as well as the off seasons for safe, clean recreation.
Wasaga Beach Provincial Park provides access to the shoreline for all residents of Ontario as well out of province tourists who would otherwise be denied this due to the protectionist attitudes of surrounding municipalities such as Tiny and City of Barrie.
Please do not give away our rights to this beautiful parkland to the town of Wasaga Beach which has only their own developmental interests in mind.
