I do not agree with provincial plans to privatize Wasaga Beach. This is a critical habitat area which includes dunes and shoreline which are important for species protection and would be developed if sold to the highest bidder. Moreover, beaches need to be accessed by people who don’t have access to the water or beaches. This is an environmental and social equity issue.
