This is a horrible land grab which will remove endangered species habitats, and threaten a vibrant tourist destination. Ontario has plenty of space that's already developed, we should not be encroaching upon already limited park space. Countries like Japan have much higher populations than Ontario, but are almost 70% forest. They achieve this by allowing apartment buildings. We don't need to make the piping plover extinct because we as a society are somehow unable to build tall buildings to accommodate our growing population.
