This provincial government has a strong track record of degrading our environmental protections that ensure we have healthy land and water for future generations. The proposed changes to the Provincial Parks and Conservation Reserves Act that is intended to remove land from Wasaga Beach Provincial Park and transfer ownership of it to the Town of Wasaga Beach is another step towards weakening these protections. Ontarians are not interested in seeing environmentally sensitive land irreversibly damaged and developed in the name of economic growth. Leave our protected public lands alone and abandon these proposed amendments. You have done enough damage already.
