Since 2020, my husband and I try to spend 2-4 nights in Wasaga on alternating weeks from June-August and as many other weekends as possible in Spring and Fall.

We’ve explored every beach, kayaked the full length of the river, cycled up to Tiny and to Collingwood.

We’re not locals, but we love the town.

When we heard that there would be new development, we were excited. The town has so much potential for tourism and investment.

But the beaches are a treasure that belong to the whole province and to everyone today and for generations to come. There is plenty of opportunity for development in the surrounding areas - preserving the beaches as the primary attraction of the town, not the subject of the development.
