I am thoroughly against this.
Opportunistic, short sighted and irresponsible.
You need land? Intensify urban sprawl and redevelop under-utilized government properties. So many other options.
Change the tax structure to discourage investment properties.
Developers want it easy and they want to maximize profit.
Again the government is not doing its job. It’s demoralizing and depressing to be born and raised here and on a daily basis be confronted with the laziness, complacency, corruption and backwardness of Toronto and Ontario government employees.
