I strongly oppose this bill. I have lived in downtown Toronto my whole life, do not have a car or even a driver’s licence, and rely solely on public transit, my bicycle, or my own two feet to get around. I think the focus on car culture is absolutely wrong-headed— to create a vibrant city we need diversity in transportation, more pedestrian-only zones downtown, and more people-friendly spaces.
