Do not consolidate the conservation authorities. Each CA is divided by watershed for a reason. There are many nuances and environmental concerns that were weighed when these CAs were originally delineated. The employees at each CA share a love for their local watersheds and are experts in their fields. Consolidation will lead to a decline in that expertise as people from outside the region will be able to comment on and monitor environmental data that they are unfamiliar with. We need more jobs within the CAs, not less.
