This is not a good idea. The proposed regional authorities are way too big, the idea of consolidating all of these Conservation Authorities (CAs) is ridiculous. Reviews of applications take time for a reason and should not be amended just to fulfill the Conservative governments "housing promise". If the government wants everything to be the same, they should take the financial burden off of local municipalities and fund the CAs themselves. Why would the government do that though when they don't believe in any of the much needed work the CAs do. If it were up to the Ford government, the CAs would be removed completely so his friends can build and destroy every last bit of this province. My suggestion for this proposal is to not screw around with any of the CAs.
