As a student majoring in wildlife biology and conservation, these changes will have devastating impacts on Canadian ecosystems. Canadian nature is an important part of our heritage, and the fact that our provincial government is willing to set back ecological protections in the name of economic gain is sickening. What good will money be after we destroy our planet and alter it beyond recognition?
