I object to the amendments stated in this proposal, as the safety of biodiversity should not be compromised for the sake of economic gain. We should keep our number of protected species stable, perhaps even increase it. We cannot possibly have exhausted other avenues of creating an economically independent Ontario from the USA, and I am appalled at how quickly Ontario's government has taken to further exploiting Ontario's wildlife to this end. Additionally, I do not have faith that any detriments to Canadian wildlife will be well-documented and dealt with accordingly, therefore I do not trust this institution to be responsible with the changes being made.
