Putting decision-making power into the hands of fewer and fewer is a trend we are seeing worldwide and is exactly what people do not want. It has proven time & time again to be to the detriment of societies. Those who are seeking this amalgamation are corrupt. It's that simple. Each region needs a say so they can collaborate and come to a general consensus about what is right. Reducing that to a single entity is the wrong decision. I do not support this change and I know the vast majority of Ontarians agree that amalgamating power is not in anyone's best interest, except those in power.
