Cutting the number of employees in the conservation authorities is just asking for big corporations rushing in and taking what they want without any protections for nature. I have seen firsthand what aggregates do in my area. Every single road has an aggregate and there are not enough people testing the water levels and as a result, many wells in my area have run dry . There is also a big water bottling company that is taking tons of water and then you have drought conditions last summer and that is only begging for a complete collapse of our water systems and water table levels. I am so tired of complaining to my local MPs and provincial government and federal government representatives.Nobody does anything for the taxpayer who are funding your livelihoods. There is no representation for the people anymore. Our voices have been silenced, so why should we pay taxes to fund our governmental representatives, who basically do not represent the people?
