I do NOT agree with this proposal.
It seems like the main goal is to be able to have a different agency in control of the environment that is more willing to give in to the current government’s desire to build on land/waterfront property currently being protected under the current protection organizations.
They tried doing this secretly with farm land as well - and now want to be able to do this with waterfront properties - with no care of what it will do to the environment, the water that people rely on, or the wildlife that live in those areas.
We cannot let this happen - we must protect our environment!!
