Conservation is not something that can be generalized like this. You’re basically saying “Thunder Bay? Yeah that’s basically the same as Grand Bend.” Having to spread these consolidated conservation authorities will do nothing but provide generalized and depersonalized care to these areas and make conservation into nothing more than something that must be worked around like an obstacle. Trying to give the same authority to Essex past Waterloo just doesn’t make sense. I love my local Conservation authority and would hate to see it turned into some general corporation of an authority.
