This government has not built trust with the public that they will prioritize the health of the environment and water. Consolidating conservation authorities feels like another effort to compromise our future in favour of urban sprawl and developers. When this government went after the green belt, gave up tracking emissions, terminated green energy initiatives and undermined the carbon tax it made it clear that this is not a government that looks out for future generations. You don’t have the public’s trust on environmental issues. We don’t trust you to reorganize conservation authorities to do more than fast track more monster homes and development.
