The plan to merger conservation authorities is not about protecting the environment. It is a plan to make it easier for developers. It is time we stop proceeding the development at all cost and start protecting the environment before it is too late. The conservation authorities are best suited to knowing about the local area. Not someone who live hundreds of kilometers away. Stop this proposal.
