Ontario's education minister eyes more possible school board takeovers as Bill 33 passes. This is a further indication that the Ford government wants to centralize power in ways that reduces municipalities' local control. Ontario is proposing to consolidate its 36 conservation authorities into seven meaning many communities will lose their voice.
