I am very concerned about…

I am very concerned about this proposal and the harm it may do in the province. As a long time homeowner in a flood plane, I understand the issues at hand, but I am very worried regarding the issues each conservation area has in regards to the others in the province. As a resident of Essex County, which is surrounded on three sides by water, I am not sure a conservation authority in another area would do justice to our concerns as opposed to an area that is landlocked.

I believe this is an attempt by the Ontario government to create a smoke screen in its wish it create more housing and making it easier to deal with the builders who have no concerns regarding the environment.

I hope more considerations will be made before passing this bill and making a bigger mistake that can never be corrected. Once the habitat and watershed are compromised, we are forever changing the world as we know it.
