Brampton resident here. While I understand the benefit of having Water/Wastewater services be its own public corporation so that it can have a temporary deficit for housing growth, I fail to see, and do not support having the ownership of the service split between Brampton, Caledon, and Mississauga. The ownership transition just seems like more work and tax dollars spent without justifiable benefit for residents. Keep it under the same ownership or if there is a plan to integrate all Water/Wastewater services in the whole province together under one PUBLIC, government-owned (not private ownership) entity, I can support it. Otherwise, I do not support it.
