The proposal makes sense. I can see value when administrative costs are reduced and the ability to share knowledge and experience is enhanced. While I see the value in local knowledge the local view is often myopic and lacks the perspective of a much larger and important vision. Ontario needs a consistent vison across all of Ontario that individual municipalities can not provide.
