Multiple studies have shown that increasing car lanes do not reduce traffic or roadway congestion - they increase it. More infrastructure for cars means more cars on the road. It's being time for the province to listen to experts and invest in cycling and transit infrastructure. Furthermore, municipalities are fully able to make their own decisions on whether or not they want to install bike lanes. Stop Bill 60, it helps no one and hurts many.
