This bill is horrendous and denies cyclists and pedestrians safety on streets. It does nothing to promote Ontario's commitments to reverse climate change. it prioritizes cars and automobiles over cyclists and pedestrians and does nothing to make cities more livable. this bill removes the ability of citizens to control their environment and places an extra burden on the provincial government to determine local routes for transportation and citizen safety. This is micromanaging and will ultimately be unsuccessful. I strongly oppose this bill and have written several letters to the premier and minister of transportation, as well as to the local newspaper. I have received absolutely no acknowledgement of my letters or input from the premier minister of transportation. I insist that my strong opposition to this bill is registered and recorded.
A citizen and cyclist in Toronto that has been hit three times on Dupont Street.
