I am against Bill 60 which is an escalation of Bill 212’s attack on evidence based decision making that would prohibit any municipality in Ontario from reducing motor vehicle lanes to build new bike lanes.
An increasing population density requires more efficient ways of transportation. Since the government allowed to build 100s of condos, driving became less efficient and more dangerous for pedestrians and bikers. Therefore, we need more bikes lanes, especially in highly dens areas.
