Merging the CA's is a terrible idea for many reasons. Do not do this. we need more environmental monitoring, ecological data collection, and ecological rehabilitation work - not less!!!! We need experts that understand the local watersheds. We need more CA staff to work with the public to increase knowledge, understanding, and partnerships to protect what little we have left of forests, meadows, shorelines, and wetlands. Have you heard of climate change disasters like flooding and drought and fires?????? Do you not care a fig for your children's future? We cannot live on a paved earth. I'm extremely frustrated with this governments flippant regard for the future of the planet.

Here's a request - Please go for a walk in a forest by yourself or with loved ones. Make it a long enough walk that you can spend an hour or more deep in the woods. Then think about what you really want.
