The consolidation of the conservation authorities will eliminate the reason they were made in the first place. We need these organizations to be fine so they are able to attentively preform their jobs. If the areas are consolidated the "approvals" will be bogged down because the few authorities have more requests and work to be preformed. Or we will be ignoring why they were formed in the first place.
We want to "build homes faster" is just ignoring or erasing the red tape that is placed to protect everyone. Conserving land also has value and stewardship. We need infrastructure and that can mean with the natural environment. Please give this more time.
Canada is pumping up our resource potential without considering the environment.
