This change to the number of conservation authorities will not produce the benefits touted by the proposal but rather reduce the amount of care and oversight made in decisions regarding development of wet lands and plains, which are crucial in Ontario's ecosystems. Cutting fat from the government should never come at the expense of proper ecological management. No one wants this, please reconsider.
