Has anyone looked at the logistics of this plan? In our area, this would mean amalgamating with seven other conservation areas in the proposed Lake Erie Regional Conservation Authority, which would include 81 municipalities. The UTRCA currently delivers programs and services to urban and rural communities in 17 watershed municipalities, which appoint the UTRCA's Board of Directors. How is this new plan, and their planned human resources, supposed to manage this many conservation areas and work with 81 municipalities in an effective way? Managing land and resources isn't the same as what happened with the tourism regions. And with the changes to the environment and the land that need to be addresses, this sounds like an impossible chunk to manage.
