As a farmer within the Grand River watershed I think it is very important to save our local conservation authorities and not to consolidate. These local experts provide farmers with science based, accurate and local information on a daily basis. These rural water programs are effectively run and managed at the local level and I feel that we will lose this by consolidating larger regional areas.
