There is NO net benefit to Ontarians by amalgamating conservation authorities, they will all suffer immensely. Who is going to ensure land trusts aren’t magically incorporated? Farmers will take an even larger hit by having to pay for drainage at a higher rate as that calculation will have to change as the conservation area size changes. Conservation authorities are to ensure CONSERVATION, not expedite permits for this government’s rich friends
