The Windsor-Essex Region requires our local ERCA/Essex Region Conservation Authority expertise to supply Emergency Flood Information to all of our Municipalities across the region to continue to inform alert and warn of impending Flood conditions for the safety of all our citizens.
Consolidating 36 Conservation Authorities into 7 regional entities under Bill 68 will endanger local Public Safety and by reducing critical and timely information to local municipal Emergency Managers and the general public.
