In no way will this proposal…

In no way will this proposal improve how the conservation authorities work to keeping our wild lands safe and healthy. They are already understaffed and underfunded, and I foresee this deteriorating even further under this government and proposal. It will have gone the way of the weed inspectors - basically non-existent in most municipalities where they wear many different hats while not being able to address the issue of invasive species which threaten natural biodiversity in Ontario. To create such a large umbrella over conservation reduces the efficacy of addressing needs of specific environments across the province. I oppose this proposal.
