Having numerous Conservation Authorities provides scientific expertise from specific areas, enforces regulations easier, and monitors water quality and quantity in watersheds, which is important for the health of the land and waterways. Amalgamating them to cover much larger areas risks losing the local knowledge, nuance, and responsiveness needed to manage distinct regional challenges. Stop this action and allow the people to continue doing the great work they already have provided. This is a disgusting bill only meant to seize power and limit conservation resources and voices.
