Another problem proposed by the Ford government. With Bill 5 being in effect and already posing challenges and threats to our ecosystems and environment why not add to the mix by combining conservation authorities. Seven different conservation authorities means combining vast landscapes and ecosystems into under one umbrella which means that the needs of those environments and ecosystems may not be supported or met. Each conservation area is different with different means and needs. Combining under seven major conservation areas is pointless and takes away from those who are working hard in their local communities. I miss when Good Things use to Grow in Ontario instead of these corporate business ideas.
