Merging conservation areas is a mistake. It will result in misuse, lack of care, lack of funding for important projects, cause job loss and government interference in what should be locally run and locally supported. Some person no matter how much education they have in a populated area has no idea what is right for a small section of conservation land 2 hours away. Keep government control out of our watershed protection.
Merging these conservation areas is bound to lead to sectioning and selling areas off; that are deemed not popular or profitable; to corporations in an attempt to gain more money while also lining the pockets of the government and other corporations.
Shame on the government for thinking of doing this. This is a no for me.
